As an AmeriCorps member, you will gain new skills and experiences and find the tremendous satisfaction that comes from helping others. In addition, full-time members who complete their service earn a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award of $5,350  to pay for college, graduate school, or to pay back qualified student loans; members who serve part-time receive a partial Award.  SCHFH will also offer a monthly stipend, health & dental insurance and housing. The monthly stipend will total $12,100 for the 2011-2012 year.
