The Youth Programs Department of Habitat for Humanity was founded with the mission to capture the imagination, energy, and hope of young people worldwide, ages 5 to 25. The goals of Habitat for Humanity's youth program are to:

• Promote youth involvement in supporting the needs of SCHFH
  
• Provide support for youth volunteers & those that support them through resources, training, and special programs
  
• Believe that youth are the builders and leaders of tomorrow: therefore we should help build youth service habits and a commitment to social problems while reaching out to families
  
• Seek to offer opportunities for Sussex County youth to partner with HFH in an environment that fosters community leadership and teamwork while promoting the goal of eliminating poverty housing

Individual youth (ages 16-17*) who are interested in volunteering on our construction can sign up online by clicking below  Please note that volunteers under the age of 18 need to have their parent or guardian fill out a special youth waiver in order to volunteer with us.
