Pride Build

Pride Build

Join Sussex County Habitat for Humanity for a week-long Pride Build starting June 25th!

Embracing the spirit of Pride Month, we're proud to affirm our support for the LGBTQ+ community. Volunteers of all identities and backgrounds are invited to come together to build not just structures, but a stronger, more inclusive community. Whether you're a seasoned builder or new to the hammer, your participation makes a difference. Together, we'll create spaces that reflect our commitment to equality and respect for all.

Why is Pride Build important? The Trevor Project reports that 28% of LGBTQ+ youth have faced homelessness or housing instability. By participating, you not only contribute to constructing a Habitat home but also deepen your understanding of affordable housing issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community.
